Im trying to add some code to my x-child theme, but it won’t let me save the file.
I get the erorr

Scrape nonce check failed. Please try again.

I searched the forum but I couldn’t find a relevant solution to this. Could you please check what is going wrong? I updated to all the latest versions but it still persists. Also the closing tag of php seems to be missing in the editor.

Will include credentials as a secure note.

The login provided doesn’t seem to work.

You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

This is actually a common issue with wordpress 4.9 and it is usually hosting related.
