Safari & ipad Nav Bar issues

On most tested safari on ipad the navbar does not contain links&menus icons as it does on any other browser&device. Do you have an quick&easy fix for this?

or here it can be seen better because the icons/links are not white:

Please help me out

Hi @elxdesign2016,

Thanks for reaching out.

May I know the specific URL that has this issue? The live site is accessible but looks different than your screenshot. Then the staging URL is inaccessible from my end.

These are what I see on my iPad.

Thanks!

Hi,

thanks for your quick reply!

Hi @elxdesign2016,

I checked and still the same, works fine on my end. The only difference that I can see on our tests is the iOS version. Could you try it on latest IOS? Older browsers tend to be buggy which is why they continue releasing the updates.

Thanks!

Thanks, good to know that it works with latest ios/safari. !but! in real live people (consumers) tend to have alle kinds of sh** devices, so I was wondering what’s the css issue here so I can optimze the comapility. Can you give me a hit or your guess on what’s causing these (css) problem? after all it’s just a menu bar- which is why it should simply work! regardless of version- seems to be caused by the themes header customizer… please please help me out here

cheers,

Moritz

Hi @elxdesign2016,

I checked in the simulator with that version and it works there too. Perhaps what I need is a real device with 8.3, but will be rare since that version was since 2015. I’ll check if we can find one

Though, we encourage users updating their browsers/iOS since the newer ones tend to have new features that used by modern technologies.

Thanks!

Hi ,
you are right, it must have been bad luck pulling a bugy devices out of 0.1%…

don’t bother looking into this. So if you can assure it’s working from 9.x and up it’s fine.

cheers;
Moritz

Hi @elxdesign2016,

Yes, it works on 9.x version too. In that case, let us know if you find more issues related to iOS browsers. They tend to have more glitches than android.

Thanks!
