Russian website - Cornerstone pictures disappeared

Hello,

I have a problem with one of my websites running X theme 9.1.4 and Cornerstone 6.1.4.

The website was developed in 2019 and was a copy of an english site. The page was updated frequently.
The site is around 1.900 MB and the dedicated space on server is above 2.500MB

All the background pictures and 95% of other pictures disappeared.

About 3 months ago the SSL certificate for the website expired and beacuse of the situation in Russia the certificate for RU websites are not available.

I have all the plugins updated and all the plugins except Cornerstone were disabled - problem still remains.

Is there a simple solution?

Thanks for reaching out.
You have correctly pointed out that the problem is due to the SSL certificate. Unfortunately, we can’t do anything about this. What you can do is, please copy your live site to a staging server and change all the URLs to HTTPS to HTTP using any plugin and check if that resolves your problem. If everything works fine, migrate the staging server to live.

NOTE: Please remember that you should not replace only the HTTPS to HTTP, you need to replace the full URL like http://example.com/wp-content/ to https://example.com/wp-content/
