I would like to display a slideshow via shortcode (rev slider) when visitors click on Tags in the portfolio. Currently, clicking a tag shows an excerpt of every portfolio item with the same tag, but the shortcode in the excerpt is displayed as text. I have done something like this in the past via php, but I don’t know where to put my code for an excerpt. What code do I need to enable shortcodes, and where does the code need to be added?

Just note that shortcodes in excerpt are disabled out of the box because they might conflict with the Excerpt Length. If this occurs, please consult with a third party developer.
