Revolution slider width

Hi there,
I can’t get my slider to work properly. First of all I don’t know how to adapt it’s width to my global page width - it is way too wide. See screenshot please: on top is the slider, underneath the image that shows what it should look like.

2. And could you tell me please how I can explain to the inserted text that it is a H1?

Any help would be great.
Cheers
Karen

Hi there,

Please edit the Revolution Slider Layout setting and set it to auto.

Then to set the text layer to h1, please check the screenshot below:

Hope this helps.

Hi Jade,
thank you very much, both things worked fine  - unfortunately the image is still being cut off, see screenshot. Maybe it’s just one little thing missing… Could it help to reduce the height in “layer grid size”?

Cheers
Karen

Hey Karen,

I tried to check your page, i see the image correctly but i don’t see the slider on that page. Can you please share the page URL so we can take a look?

Thanks!

Hey Nabeel,
yes, as the hero scene slider looked like a mess I deactivated it until I got the solution.
I tried all sorts of things: inserting a different image with only 1800 pixel, that didn’t change anything.
Then I changed the grid layer size, no effect. It’s still being cut off.

Thank you
Karen

Hi Karen,

It’s aspect ratio related, the slider and image could have different resolution but the aspect ratio should be the same. Please check this tool https://andrew.hedges.name/experiments/aspect_ratio/

From the given information from your site, the image size is 2000x723, the slider width is 1240, then the slider height should be 448 and not 600.

Plus, 1240 is a bit big, please try 980x354

Thanks!

Hi Rad,
thank you so much! What you explained about ratio aspect solved the problem  - the slider is up and running! Actually it was necessary after all to enable each custom grid size and to enter the specific ratio values.
Happy saturday!
Cheers
Karen

Glad we were able to help
