Revolution Slider Video Disappears

Hi, on this page https://www.romimu.com/oldhome/ when you click on “Full Video” the video opens for a moment and then disappears. It did not happen like this before. It may have started when Revolution Slider did an update.

please help.

Hey @Torah541,

How are you adding the trigger to the button layer? I have checked the slider settings and the action attached to the full video button is to open the next slider.

Try adding the action Open Slider Modal to the button instead:

It does NOT work. The second slid opens for a moment and then disappears. I tried this on several computers with the same result. It does not work. See this link (I did a video screen capture). https://vimeo.com/362193404

Hey @Torah541,

Jade pointed out that your Button Action activates the Next Slide.

She then said:

Friech tested that and said the Homepage duplicate slider works. To prove that, I now created a test page in your site (see secure note) and in that page I used the Homepage duplicate slider.

Please follow the Homepage duplicate button setup as your old setup is no longer supported by Slider Revolution due to the new features.

I am really struggling to figure out how this works. Some questions:

  • You wrote “as your old setup is no longer supported by Slider Revolution due to the new features.” WHAT aspect of my old set up is not supported.
  • When I make a change in Revolution Slider the change does not seem to be reflected when I look at the website. Is there anything other than SAVE that needs to be done?

Can you help me with a Slider Revolution issue. I have a current issue AND I want to get a better understanding of how it works.

Background:

The pop up video on the main mage stopped working properly. When clicking on “Watch Video” the video would open for a moment and then close. For now, I changed the home page so that the link goes to a different page.

These issues started as soon as Slider Revolution updated to 6.0:

  • It is pointing to the wrong slide. Even though I changed it to a different doesn’t update.
  • It used to have an “X” in the corner so that the user could close the video.
  • The sound does not play
  • There is a little animation that takes place that I don’t want to see.

I’ve looked at your homepage https://www.romimu.com/ and it looks like the issue is no longer there. Can you confirm if there is still an issue here or if you were able to resolve it (as it looks resolved now)?
