Revolution Slider responsive view

I have been using Rev Slider for several years but seem to be having an issue. The slides on this slider do not adjust to any handheld device. Can you advise me on what I am doing wrong?

I also cannot figure out how to make the linked icons in the global slide to go to a pointer when I hover on them.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi Keith,

Thank you for writing in, please watch this tutorial covering responsive setups.

Regarding the link pointer cursor, please add this to your Slider CSS

.linked-icons  {
    cursor: pointer !important;
}

And then apply the class linked-icons to those image/icon layers.

CSS cursor Property

Cheers!

Hi Friech,

I appreciate the assistance. The cursor resolution worked fine when applied to each slide. So that has been taken care of. I watched the series of 4 videos regarding Rev Slider. I thought the 3rd one would have shown me how to insure the image is responsive but it did not. I am comparing the slider settings and slide settings to one of the other many Rev Sliders I have out there and they seem to be the same. I really need assistance on figuring out why the individual slides are not responsive. Any guidance is much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Keith,

To make a slider responsive, please check this guide and this one too. If you have already implemented that and the issue still persist, please share site credentials inside a secure note so we can check your slider setup. Thank you.

Hi Keith,

Thank you for the credentials, I see that you set those images as a background and the headlines were embedded on those background images. Background-image responsive is different, please follow this link for more details.

What you should have done is separate the Headlines from the background so it will respond on its own. You can get away with the circled image as the background, but not the Text/Headline in it.

Please edit your background-images, remove the text from it, and add those text as a Text/HTML layer.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Hi Lely, I am stumped. I have looked through the docs at the links you sent and I am still not able to get the slides to work responsively. I have numerous sliders out there and have compared all of the settings on this one to others and cannot figure this out.

Hi Keith,

Perhaps you could provide the other URLs so we could use it as comparison? I checked your site and the slider seems to be responsive on mobile, and it behaves like that as expected since it’s a background image. Maybe what we need to understand is what we should expected to see. And please provide more information what should respond this time.

Thanks!
