Revolution Slider Rejecting Device Specific Font Sizes

I set up the Revolution Slider on my site to display fonts based on each specific device. Unfortunately, it is completely ignoring this and I’m not sure why.

There appears to be some auto responsive feature on that automatically is resizing the fonts based on the screen height even though I’ve gone through and tried to turn off every setting that would perform this function.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi @santosfel5,

The following responsive settings are ON:

To understand the complete responsive setup of the revolution slider, please check this detailed documentation.

Hi @lely

Yes, I’m aware those responsive settings are on. The problem is that the responsive preview is being shown on the backend versus how it actually looks on the frontend of the site.

Below is how the revolution slider shows the size of the text on the backend. The correct way it should look.

This is how it actually looks on a mobile device. The text is too small.

Hello @santosfel5,

The text becomes smaller because it resizes in smaller screens. If you want to prevent it from resizes, you must turn OFF “Resize Between Devices” option in the “Size and Position” tab in your slider settings as shown below:

And after making the slider setting changes, you must clear your WPEngine caches before testing your site again. Please let us know if this works out for you.

Great! That appears to have fixed the headline sizing, but the button have disappeared on mobile.

Hello @santosfel5,

Your button is not missing. It is just outside of the frame. To get this resolved, you will need to consider the button position responsively.

We would love to know if this has worked for you. Thank you.
