Revolution Slider Registration

There is a new Slider Revolution Plugin Update and it requieres me to enter the purchase code (for the plugin, not the theme) to use the full version. Does it not come with the X theme? X Theme purchase code does not work.

Hi Christian,

Thanks for writing in! Since the Revolution Slider you have is bundled with the X, you don’t need to validate it. The plugin functions 100% without license registration. Though some plugin may require a separate license from the author for Premium features or Add-ons.

We provide the updates for these extensions rather than from the plugin developers’ automatic updater.

We always try and upgrade as soon as possible when a new plugin release is made to ensure our customers are using the latest version. This isn’t always possible for example if we submit an update to Envato and our update is in review while a new plugin version comes out, that version would have to wait for our next update.

If a plugin includes any major fixes, for example, a security issue, or a plugin breaking bug that prevents all functionality we update right away.

If a plugin update just includes minor bug fixes or improvements, then generally we wait to bundle that version until our planned update is ready to come out.

But should I not be using an older but still premium version? It now just says Slider Revolution is not registered and it seems to be kind of hard to work with, a lot of preview options not there etc. It has a new design that’s for sure. Screenshot attatched. Is that what it’s supposed to look like? And is it supposed to be an unregistered version? I much rather would usw the full but older version.

For bundled plugins, yes, it’s what it should look like. It’s the same UI as the plugin author provided, as well as full functionality as revolution slider. You’ll only need to register it if you wish to get updates directly from the plugin author instead of us. But that means you’ll have to buy a license from them to be able to register it.

There is no premium version, but there are premium templates that are only given by plugin author for the users that bought the license directly from them.
