Revolution Slider Not Functioning

Hi Guys,

I am trying to import a Revolution Slider template I’ve customized, and it shows up once I import it, but I can’t edit.
If I try to create a new slider, it creates one but I can’t edit.
When I try to do either, the site just goes dark as if it can’t load.

I can’t import from the template library either because the button doesn’t respond.

I’m running a licensed version 6.0.9 and it’s just going dark on me.

Is this a bad installation or is there some other problem?

Update: As I go through this, I noticed there are some details missing in Cornerstone.
Details in the buttons, like the alignment lines, and icons in the “Load Template” and “Save Template” buttons.
I wonder if they’re all related?

Please look at your first convenience as I am working on converting a live site to xtheme.

Thank you,

Dan

Hi Dan,

Thank you for writing in, where did you from the template? Maybe your template is not compatible with the latest RS version.

Can you try deleting your custom slider (from template) and then try creating a new slider from scratch see if you can edit it. If still not, please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

Thanks for the reply friech!
I deactivated all plugins and it’s still doing the same thing.
When I go to edit a new slider, it takes me to a dark screen.
Please take a look, my login is above.
Thank you again,
Dan

Hello Dan,

I have logged in and reinstalled Slider Revolution. Will you please insert your plugin license so that we can update it to 6.0.9 and then test it?

Thank you in advance.

This is really strange, but when I click the “Register Slider Revolution” button, it doesn’t do anything.
It doesn’t give me an interface to enter my license.

Hello Dan,

There is a JS error on the page which is why no buttons events are happening. This could be a caching issue. Since you are using SiteGround, could you please clear your site cache and disable the supercacher in your hosting panel? The SuperCacher is developed by SiteGround exclusively for their customers. It increases the number of hits a site can handle and boosts the website loading speed. The SuperCacher includes 4 different caching options for maximum optimization of your websites. You can access the tool by clicking on the SuperCacher icon in your cPanel.

For more information about this, please check it out here: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/supercacher/supercacher_intro.htm

Hope this helps.
