I have a slider, 5 layers. 2 layers are set to come in from the top and bottom to center of screen and then go to the left and right respectively. so one layer is the Letter I and the other layer is letter T. They meet in the middle of screen and then animate out. the letter I goes to the left and T goes to the Right. when in rev slider and in mobile view it works fine. only when I view the site through Wordpress and shrink browser to mobile view do the 2 layers go off screen. is this a setting in X pro that I am missing? Thanks in advance
Hi David,
Thanks for reaching out.
The Rev Slider is just a bundled plugin, its setting has no connection to the theme or builder. It’s a stand alone plugin. Unfortunately, I can’t reproduce this issue on my installation and your site is currently on localhost. Would it be okay if you set up a temporary online site for this issue? And please provide the URL and login credentials in the secure note.
Thanks!
I appreciate the super fast reply. let me see what I can do. will provide details once I have it all set
Thanks, let us know once ready
Hey David,
You’ll need to set the layer position per screen size. For more details, please see Slider Revolution’s documentation about Size and Position here https://www.themepunch.com/slider-revolution/size-position/
Hope that helps.
Unfortunately those values were already set to play the letters in the exact position i want them on the screen. however when i add a keyframe to have the X value change from one position to the next via an animation is when the alignment gets all funky. that X value noted in your image is not the X value that should be changed to set the animation. its under animations ---- + keyframe - then go to layers at the bottom. you have access to my login so you will be able to see that value. its a really weird issue and i appreciate any help
Hey David,
If the animation position is what you want to change, you still need to set the position per screen size.
Hope that helps.
understood. i have tried changing them, and they look great in the preview in revolution slider. but when being viewed via the browser or mobile does not return the same results. hence why i thought its a X theme alignmet issue on the column that the element sits on.
Hi David,
Would you please do a test for us to determine if it is something related to the theme or not?
Please change the theme from X to a default theme such as Twenty Twenty. Then please add a new page using the normal WordPress editor and use the Revolution Slider shortcode to show the slide.
This way you will make sure that our products have no affect on the slider, then please check and see if you see the same problem.
Thank you.
