Revolution Slider: Layers Animate Out Only With Click

Hello, I have searched and searched this forum for an answer to my question as it seems like it should be so simple, but I cannot find the answer here on in the Revolution Slider documentation.

I have a slider setup as a ‘timeline’ on a website, I want the first slide of the timeline to appear and wait indefinitely until a user clicks the next button and loads the next slide. I cannot find an option to make this happen. I am able to set the length of the slide #1 to (for example) 100 seconds, so that it waits for a long time, but if I do that, when a user clicks next the ‘out animations’ of the slider do not activate and it simply loads the ‘in animations’ of the next slide. Which just looks messy and makes the out animations pointless.

How can I deactivate the time frame of the slides and activate the out animations on click, so that it works like:

  • In animation of slide #1
  • Wait until user clicks
  • User clicks
  • Out animations of slide #1 are activated
  • In animations of slide #2 are activated
  • Wait until user clicks

Thank you in advance for your help, this issue is driving me crazy, so any help greatly received.

Hi @littleshock,

Thanks for reaching out.
We need to investigate your Revolution Slider setup with the specific slider file, to do so can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately this is a client of mine and they are a corporate client with strict security protocols, so would not allow for a third party to have access to the company website.

Is there any other information I can give you so that you can point me in the right direction of the options I need?

If not, is there a simple way for me to export the slider to dev site so I can give you access?

Hi @littleshock,

In that case, you can export the slider to your dev site, and please give the access on a secure note, else I would recommend you please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely in your staging site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

You can also go through the following article, which may help you with this.

Hello, sorry for the delay in coming back to you. I have time next week booked in for this and will update you once I have had a chance to move the slider to a staging environment. Thanks for your help.

Hello @littleshock,

Please let us know when you are ready with staging server setup.

Thanks
