Revolution slider jquery.js error

Dear all,

I’m having troubles with my sliders in my website (I think after some updates? Not sure anyway). They’re no more displayed, and in my backend editor I see the following message:

Revolution Slider Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the revolution files js include. This includes make eliminates the revolution slider libraries, and make it not work.

To fix it you can:
1. In the Slider Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: Put JS Includes To Body option to true.
2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it.

I tried some solutions already posted in other topics here in the forum, but it didn’t work. Now in the backend editor this error message is no more displayed but the sliders are still not working.

Thank you,
Ezio

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! One possible cause would be a plugin conflict. Could you please try disabling your 3rd party plugins and see if that resolves your issue. If that resolves your issue, you can then activate your plugins one by one to identify which plugin cause this issue.

Or else it could be that one of your revolution slider plugin may have corrupted. In that case, you can export your current sliders and take a backup, then try re-installing your revolution slider plugin.

Thanks!

Hello and thank you for the help!

It seems that plug-in W3 Total Cache is creating the problem. Disabling it the sliders are appearing again.

Do I have to consider any option in order to keep it activated?

Hey @ezioghibaudo,

Try activating it then apply the solutions provided here.

If that doesn’t help, you will need to contact W3 Total Cache support.

Thanks.
