Revolution slider issues on IE

Hello! I would like to address an issue I’m having with Revolution Slider on Internet Explorer.
I am using IE11 and updated xTheme and Cornerstorne

The problem is that on IE the backgroud video does not cover the whole div, instead you can see black color above and below it. I want it to cover the whole div like it does on google chrome.

Regards,
Luka

Hey Luka,

The background video covers the whole screen on my end but if I resize the browser, I see the issue.

I tested the latest bundled version of Slider Revolution though and this does not happen. I also see you have custom CSS related to the slider’s video.

With that said, please ensure Slider Revolution is up to date and also remove your customizations.

I’d also recommend that you use the Main Background setting rather than the Video Layer as a background.

And if you need the slider to be Fullscreen, please use the Fullscreen Slider Type.

Thanks.

Hello!
Thank you for your reply!

I made the slider full screen and also removed the custom css but the issue persists.
Is there anything else I can do to make it work?

Regards,
Luka

In that case, please give us WordPress Admin access so we could check your actual setup.

Thanks.

Hi Luka,

It seems to be a bug between IE and video layer, if you set the video as background instead of layer, it works just fine but background isn’t possible through static/global layers. Unfortunately, there is no available workaround. I tried some but it’s complex and not custom CSS isn’t helping, I’ll add this to our issue tracker.

Thanks!
