Hey @IRGmarketing,
Your slider is cut-off even in Chrome Windows.
I see you’ve added Slider Revolution by inserting it in a Content Area element. That is OK, but you need to check the slider’s containers which are the Section, Row, and Column. You need to set the Row’s Container to Off.
In the slider settings, you need to set the Layer Area Size according to the aspect ratio of your image. Your current slider height is 900px. I’ve set it to 1200px and it’s not cut off anymore.
Hope that helps.
Ok, so it’s not cutting off the hight, but the width now being cut and not responsive.
Thanks!!!
What Im trying to accomplish is the have the complete image in RS to show up on all devices, responsive.
Thanks!!!
Hi @IRGmarketing,
The text section of the slider is the part of the image, so it equally resizing with the image on a smaller screen. If you want that text to be responsive, you need to add the text layer and set that according to the device size option available in Slider Revolution.
In the given screenshot, the blue line is indicating the size of the notebook, so you can easily recognize the area of the device and put the text in between that, and the layer’s can be added based on that too.
If you are not proficient in this, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where the customization questions are answered.
Thanks
Yes, I know the text is part of the image, so if the image is responsive, so it the text. I got that, BUT when i insert it into my website, using Pro, it seems that the image is being cropped. And if you look at it via Chrome & Safari, the image doesn’t seem to be responsive.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hello @IRGmarketing,
The images used in your slider serves as a background image of the slide. And with how background images work, it will always cover and will fit the image at the center covering the whole slide area. This is why it is not advisable to add text to images when you are using the image as a background. Kindly check out this page https://davidwalsh.name/demo/background-size.html which would explain how background image works.
Your only option is to separate the image and the text or insert the image as an image layer and not as a slide background image.
Best Regards.
