Revolution Slider Instagram Feed problem

Hi Themeco,

We are currently getting this error with multiple sliders that use Instagram feeds. They worked fine as of late last week, but for some reason, they failed to load.

We had multiple sliders pulling from different streams on separate sites, but as of this week, none of them work.

We have followed some older threads advice about adding (allow_url_fopen = On allow_url_include = On) to htaccess.

I don’t believe there have been any updates to Slider Revolution or the Pro theme that could have caused this. Are you aware of any changes from Instagram’s side?

Bumping this … just came across 3 broken sliders from different sites that showed the same error. Also tried the instagram feed on the grid plugin with similar results…

Wanted to post an update. I found out on one of Slider Revolutions support pages, that Instagram updated its API and ThemePunch will be releasing an update very soon to resolve the current issue.

So, this shouldn’t be caused by anything on your server or website. Hope this helps!

thanks for the info. Interesting, that the instagram plugin from smashballon still works without an update. I’ll wait another couple days then…

Thanks for updating in! There is already an update from ThemePunch. We haven’t push it yet in the Theme.co plugin repository because we are still testing it.
