Revolution Slider in Logobar

Hi,

I have been asked to create a slider in the logobar of one of my websites in place of the static image.I found a post from 2015 about recreating the _navbar.php file in the Pro child theme’s framework>views>global folder, but the file does not exist in the current (Pro 2.3) version. Presumably it has been moved elsewhere with the big changes since then.

Is it still possible to use a Revolution Slider in the logobar position?

Thanks,
Christopher

Hi Christopher,

Thank you for writing in, while that is outside the scope of support, I could point you in the right direction with the understanding that it would ultimately be your responsibility to take it from here. You can locate the _navbar.php file under \pro\framework\legacy\cranium\headers\views\global\

Cheers!

Thanks Friech,

Not sure I like the look of legacy. Presumably WordPress 5 changes could have a big effect, so back to the drawing board.

Hey @cdnwhite,

I see you’re using Pro so I wonder why you would need to modify a template file when you can create a custom header and then add the Slider Revolution shortcode in a Content Area element to serve as your logo. You can see the setup at https://youtu.be/OBy5TKtpfEk

If you really need to use the Classic Header though then regretfully, that would require custom development.

Hope that helps and thanks for understanding.
