Revolution Slider Help with transitions and navigation menu

Dear Team,

Im in love with Revolution Slider which came in package with pro theme, its amazing.

SInce the last update to version 6, UI have completely changed, many things should be learned all over again.

I have faced a little issue with transitions of the slides.
I have a menu with 4 content:

1. Home
2. About Me
3. My Work
4. Contact US

I have created the first and the second slides, this slide which you see is the slide created for “Home” I’m having difficulties understanding how to link this slide to home menu button and then create transition to next slide which is About Me.

When linking slides to menu items is there any way to create quick navigation similar to this one?

I also want transitions to be similar to these

KUON YAGI PORTFOLIO

This website has no scrolling, it just slides to the next slide, could you kindly advise how to achieve it with slider revolution.

Hey Haz,

You will need to set up the menu inside the Global Layer of your slider. Then, link each of the menus to each slide (see https://www.themepunch.com/faq/add-links-to-slides-and-layers/).

Please set your slider based on the documentation I’ve linked above then we can take a look at your setup further. We will also need you to give us the following info in a Secure Note.

• WordPress Login URL
• Admin level username and password
• Name of the slider

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

I was able to achieve this only. It seems like im doing something wrong but im sure there are no mistakes, it does not slide to the next slide when you scroll down, and bullets do not appear properly when i save and preview live.

Instead of fasing out/in transition effect when scrolling, can we make same scrolling effect like on this website:

Desperately need your assistance in understanding what exactly im doing wrong.

To make things easier, could you first assist me on making all slides work. When you scroll, the next slide should appear and bullet should show on which slide we are currently on.

Dont need menu linking at this time

Hey Haz,

Upon checking, it does go to the next slide upon scrolling up or down (see https://youtu.be/_6B4M2aHQMU). It does not, however, slide like your sample slide. I’m sorry that I forgot to add previously that it’s not possible to replicate everything in your sample slider as that one is custom-built.

Your 2nd slide doesn’t work because it was disabled. I enabled it and it’s showing up now.

Regarding the bullet, it’s showing which slide you’re currently on (see the screencast above).

I have faced the following issues, could you kindly help

I have set settings for the bullets and everything is looking good

But once you save it and preview, other bullets appear

Same problem goes for the scroll effect, setting are not applied

Same issue goes for click action button, settings are not applied

Slide 2 does not allow to clicks the button because for some reason it click the whole slide

As far is understood from documentation, you should set the settings and they will automatically apply, but for my slides its like they are isolated, what might be the problem?

That Arrow-down layer action works on my end, it changes the slide when you press a key down or up, or use the mouse-wheel.

This “Next Slide on click” setting works fine on my end, please reset that setting again, and clear all your caching features, including your browser’s cache.

Slide 2 does not allow to clicks the button because for some reason it click the whole slide

This button is covered by the hot air balloon image, that is why it cant be a click, please re-order the z-index of the button to be on top. Or move the button away from the balloon so it won’t cover it.

It seems like all issues are solved except for one.

Slide 2 issue is still remaining

Even if ballon is moved, even if its deleted
Pointer is still assigned for the whole slide, as if the whole slide can be clicked.

Could you also look into third icon

Link suddenly stopped working, its 100% identical to other two, i honestly dont understand whats wrong with these slides…

That’s because the whole slide was linked.

Turning it off will fix the issue.
