Revolution Slider Has No Audio

Hi, our Revolution Slider for our Video page (https://www.sugarbeacheventshawaii.com/gallery-of-videos/) has no audio. Can you please help fix?

Thank you for writing in, but that’s not an issue with the Theme nor with your site, Chrome Mutes Autoplay Videos by Default is intentional.

Read more about that here.

If you notice on Firefox there is an audio, but the video is not auto-playing, I suggest you turn off the autoplay option.

Oh, I see. Yes, you’re right. Is there a way to get around Chrome’s MUTE?

I’m also noticing that my version of Revolution Slider is 5.4.8.3 - the new version is 6.0.5.
Do I need to update this manually?

Regretfully WordPress, the theme or the Slider Revolution plugin do not have any controls over Chrome’s MUTE policy.

Yes, the latest version is 6.0.5. We are currently testing this for conflicts and incompatibility issues. Once we are done, we will be pushing the latest version to our Theme.co plugin repository so that you will be able to update to this version via automatic updates.
