Revolution Slider Fonts suddenly not displaying correctly site wide

Hello,

I have an issue I haven’t experienced before and I’m quite out of my depth with.

All fonts on my revolution slider suddenly stopped displaying correctly.
The two fonts in use are Luckiest Guy and Francois One, and are displaying in the editor and preview perfectly as intended.
However all of a sudden, they are now not displaying across the site, despite working fine for the last week.

Any help would be hugely appreciated as this site is intended to be live this weekend, I can provide logins as a secure note.

Update: I deleted Pro and reinstalled the theme and everything is working. I will update if this happens again!

Hey @discomatt,

We are just glad that you have figured it out a way to correct the said issue.
Thanks for letting us know!

Best Regards.

Hi Ruenel,

Not entirely sure why the issue happened. But everything seems to be working fine now except a button on the revolution slider is not working as expected.
It works fine on desktop, linking to a page on the site, however on mobile you can interact with it, but it doesn’t open a window until you “force press” on the screen and it brings up a preview tab.
Is there an easy fix to this?

You can see it on the third slider of the home page at http://pummiecreative.com

Thanks!

Hi @discomatt,

The problem seems to be originating from the fact that the iPhone needs an additional tab to activate the hover. I suggest that you change the mobile mode and do the following:

  • Disable the hover effect and see if it fixes the issue.
  • Force the button to be bigger on mobile and try to add more spacing and test.

Thank you.

Hi Christopher,

I have tried both of those methods and changed the button completely and it is still only responding to the force touch gesture?

Hi Discomatt,

Please make sure the button layer is on top of stacking.

Change the z-index/stacking order of your Layers

If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

Thanks,

I have the button layer on top also, I have added credentials via secure note to the post above. Thank you!

Hi @discomatt,

Ok, after more than an hour of looking around the slider configuration, it seems these two options are causing the issue:

I’m not entirely sure though how these two options tie together but it seems if both are enabled it blocks the button from being touch. You need to turn OFF one of them.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

That’s worked!
Wow, thank you so much for your time!

We are delighted to assist you with this.

Cheers!
