Revolution slider console errors and videos dissapearing

Hey,

We are facing some problems and errors with revolution slider. It’s throwing errors into the console and the sliders disappear from the site, especially on mobile.

How to reproduce the error:

  1. go with mobile on to the page
  2. select a video, play it for a while
  3. select another video from the “playlist” and play it.
  4. video/slider disappears after 10 seconds or so.

Problem seems to be connected to javascript and revolution slider itself. We have some custom JS on the site, but this problem was present before implementing that.

Hi Marcus,

Thanks for reaching out.
Thanks for explaining the issue in detail, but it will be very difficult to recognize the issue without investigating it through the admin dashboard. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Alternatively, I would suggest you use the Video element to show the videos instead of Slider Revolution.

Thanks

Hello! No problem, here are the credentials.

I’ve been experimenting with the video module in cornerstone, but I couldn’t get it to play playlists or multiple videos that are selectable from a playlist.

Hi Marcus,

I have investigated your website and it seems that there might be some different reasons behind your reason, I would like to suggest troubleshoot the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If that does not help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions, but they didn’t help.

I found after all that it was a default Revolution Slider setting which was causing it. I was thinking to send the solution here, in case someone else faces the same problem:
