Revolution Slider background layer 'cover' doesn't work

Hello

I want to add a ‘shape’ to my revolution slider. i choose a black overlay with 30% opacity.
When i choose the option ‘cover’ so the black overlay covers the whole slider, i can’t see it when i go to the slider on the live page.

help me please
