Revolution slider and the grid animation problem

i’ve tried insert a grid made with the grid inside a slider made with slider revolution.

(the grid is inside the second slide, click on the bottom arrow of first slide)

i got two probelms:

1- navigation narrow are not showed (a text appera instead of them), and bullets and narrows are forced to stay on left side instead of being centered as I would like to do (the grid works properly if i pubblish it in a blank page)

2- skin animation in the grid is not working and elements inside it are forced to stay on left side of grid elements (just like bullets)

any idea if is it possible to make the grid work inside a slider?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully the use of the grid inside a slider will not work. Even if it might work, it will just create issues that may come later on. I would suggest that you use a different approach of how you want to display the grid on the page.

you think that essential grid should be a better choice or is better to avoid completely to try putting a grid inside a slide?
i’ve just take a look to some forums before trying and it seems to be possible…

Hi There,

Same with the essential grid it is not also a recommended setup. It won’t work perfectly because essential grid will calculate it’s height based on it’s container after loading the page. Since it’s within a slider and the slide is initially hidden when it is not active, so the the grid couldn’t calculate the height properly hence it’s happening. The basic idea here is - it is not recommended to add a grid or elements that is using jquery to calculate its display inside an element that is also using jquery for it’s display. Like adding, accordion/slider/grid/tabs inside and another accordion/slider/grid/tabs. At some point it might work but it might cause issues along the way.
