Revolution Slider 6 Global Layers

Hi,

I see ThemePunch have revamped all the UI for revolution slider. Another example of sweeping meaningless change. But I digress.

Do you happen to know how I can view the Static Layers overlay on top of an actual slide during editing? With the chequerboard / transparency background it’s impossible to see what you’re doing. With Revo Slider 5 you could set the background during editing but I can’t figure it out in the new version.

p.s would it have killed them to add tooltips to the thousands of icons they have to control this thing? :slight_smile:

UPDATE:
I think I figured it out myself (though it’s a bit hit and miss). Adding it here for the benefit of others.

Having selected the Global Layers (and got the transparent background), I have to select one of the devices/breakpoint (desktop/notebook/tablet/phone) in the top bar. One of the slides then appears…usually.
