Revolution Slider 5.4.8 update causing 500 Internal Server Error

I’m on the newest version of X Pro and after updating Revolution Slider to 5.4.8 I am getting a 500 Internal Server Error. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling still get the same issue. Any ideas?

Thanks for writing in! We need to figure out what is causing the error 500. Could you please enable the debug mode? You can do this by opening wp-config.php and adding


define('WP_DEBUG', true);

/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

When you revisit the page, you should have some error output describing the issue in more detail.
