Revalidating license & upgrading PHP broke PRO theme

Hi - I’m hoping you all can help me. This morning I upgraded this site’s PHP to version 7.3 and revalidated the PRO license.

The client was able to work on her site for about an hour, until she published a blog post, at which time the theme went crazy.

I will furnish site info in a private message. Thank you in advance for your assisance.

Hi Suzanne,

Thank you for writing in, first, please clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

It seems like the issue is only happening on your homepage, I saw that you used the Essential Grid shortcode inside of a Text element, technically this is acceptable, however, we recommend if using the Classic Essential Grid element instead for adding your grid to avoid potential conflict. Please edit your homepage and find those Text element with grid shortcode and delete it, then save and reload the page.

Then add back your grids but this time uses the Classic Essential Grid element.

Another thing, I notice this URL https://www.dev.thewineb.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/pronto-bg.png causing a 500 Internal Server Error. This URL might have been overlooked in your migration process. Please recall where did you set that image and re-set it. Remove the dev. on the URL and you’ll see what image is that.

If the issue persists, please do the common troubleshooting guide provided here.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!
