Rev Slider, dropdown menu & Customizer are no longer functioning

Hi,

Client contacted me and said the Sliders were no longer working (two on homepage, one in Hero position, the other within the page), and neither were the drop-down menus in the Primary navigation.

I tried to get into the customizer to see if any JS had been added by the client, but it kept getting hung up.

I FTP’d into the plugins directory- disabled all the plugins, but the Nav SubMenus still weren’t showing.

I ran debug and didn’t see any conflicts either.

The only thing that actually got the Menu working was changing to WP 2020 Theme.

Can I get one of you guys/gals to look over this and tell me what I’m missing?

Thanks for writing in! This issue could be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

  • Testing for Plugin Conflict
  • Theme Update
  • Child Theme
  • CSS/JS Customization
  • Disabling Cache
  • Disabling CDN

Please start off by temporarily disabling the FancyBox plugin.

I had disabled all plugins and didn’t have this kind of luck. Disabled FancyBox per your suggestion and Voila! Everything is working. I tip my wine glass to you this evening!!!
