Rev Slider and Essential Grid Bugs

I’ve just updated Wordpress to 4.9.8. I’ve noticed quite a few new issues even with Wordpress’s admin main menu.

However in Rev slider and Essential Grid none of the color pickers are working for me and none of the tabs located inside ‘general settings’ under ‘edit slide’ work. The tabs Slideshow, defaults, Progress Bar, 1st slide, Misc, don’t update or display when clicked.

I’ve tried disabling caching and various plugins but with no luck and have tried chrome and safari but both have the same issue. The admin menu, sub menu items usually appear when hovering however they fail to appear intermittently.

I hope there is either a solution or fix coming. It would be nice to know if I’m alone in this and if it’s something I can troubleshoot. Many thanks.

Thanks for writing in! I have updated my WP in my local testing server and I could not replicate your issue. I can click the tabs and the color pickers in the Rev Slider panel.

Can you please confirm that you are using the latest versions? Our latest versions are:

• Pro Theme 2.2.5
• Rev Slider 5.4.8
• Ess. Grid 2.2.5

Please update to this versions and please let us know how it goes.

I found the issue and it was of my own creation. I had deferred loading of Javascript in the child theme functions.php file. Not sure why I added it, I think it was an attempt to save my server at the time from getting hit too much but I’ve since upgraded. Have removed it and all is well.

Glad it’s okay now and thanks for sharing. And yes, doing that could affect the loading order of the scripts.
