Rev Slider Action Btn not working - SAFARI mobile

Hi there,

I have a test site here:

Thing is, if I use Safari on my mobile, and open the site, at the top there’s a rev slider set up, with a button with the text foglalás. This is supposed to navigate the user to an outside link to opentable. Thing is, it works on Chrome, but does not work on Safari. How can I fix this?

Can you please update to the latest versions first?
Our latest versions are:
- Pro theme 3.1.2
- Rev Slider 6.1.5

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Hey @Pbalazs89,

The mechanism to open the link in a new window is not native or it is Javascript based and in newer versions of Safari, it asks the user (me) to allow the link to be opened. It does not do this in older versions and just simply blocks it that is why you perceive it as not working.

The button is not a native HTML element and Slider Revolution uses Javascript to open the link to a new window and though this is possible in Slider Revolution, this is not the natural way to open a link in a new window and some browsers might not allow this.

Please use a real link instead. The Button layer outputs a real link. Please use that.

I tested that in iPhone 5 Safari and that works.
