Restricted access login for a new page?

Greetings.

I have X-theme installed at fvfs.org.au

I couple of years ago I restricted access to one of the pages:

http://fvfs.org.au/members-only/

I created that page with the WPBakery editor – which I still have installed.

If you visit that page you’ll see it displays a login box titled:

“Restricted Content Login”

My problem is a silly one.
For the life of me, I can’t figure out HOW I set up this restricted access page!

I need to have the same restrictions and the same login details as the above page on a new page I just created.
The newly created page was made using Cornerstone.

I wonder if anyone could help me understand how to add the “Restricted Content Login” to the new page.

Thanks for any help or advice.

Hello Prodos,

Thanks for writing in!

I have checked your page and I can see that you used a Content Protect shortcode.
You can check that shortcode here: http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/protected-content/

Hope this helps.

Thanks for checking the page and for the link.

I wonder if there are any guidelines on how to apply this shortcode.

i.e. Where to place it within a page and how to format it so that it has the same login details as the page I applied it to before.

Thanks!

Hey Prodos,

To use the shortcode, you simply add the code inside a text element

[protect]
Your content to protect here
[/protect]

You may have added this on the page. I am not 100% sure though since I do not have access to it.

Thank Rue,

Ah! I see what you mean, now!

I just had a closer look at my previously made page and see that, yes, this shortcode is indeed on that page – the first bit of it is at the top of the page and the closing bit at the very bottom of the page.

Great!

The only thing I’m still not sure about now is how the username and login are defined.
I’ll try and figure that out. I think I may have created a user within my Wordpress Dashboard that can do nothing except read a page.

Thanks for your help.
