Hi guys
I have set up this staging site using two forms of content for most pages from what I’m reading this is not very good for SEO… Can you give me direction on sorting this out? Should I be using ACF and setting up the mobile content and then the desktop content for each page as fields?
Hi @philysgdy,
Thanks for reaching out.
If it is related to the font size, you can use the Responsive Settings. As shown in the given screenshot, the sizes for all the breakpoints can be set.
If that is not the case, can you please explain a bit more for our understanding?
Thanks
Hi Tristup
Yes Im using responsive sizing exactly as you have shown me. I understand and value that. But what I am doing Christian and RueNel pointed out is the hiding of text blocks is my problem.
In this case when you look at my set up I show different sections for differeent viewpoints with text variations.
I understand I should be breaking down the text with ACF and pulling in the content from the fields.
Is that correct?
Thanks in advance
Phil
Hello Phil,
Kindly check out the demo page we have created.
- See the link in the secure note below.
It comprises of different Section and elements. Only the button and the image is shown/hidden. If you take notice on the text content, it is broken down onto two Text elements.
Hope this helps in explaining how to create a page without duplicating the text contents on the page.
Cheers.
Hi Rue
I pushed out some ACF fields last night for the headings in this site. It worked a treat. I understand exactly what you were talking about after I saw your demo on Bricklane. It is such an interesting concept to put into place. I design and build first to really understand how to use the content. Then I break down the content for the build. The more granular you can be the interesting the UX becomes.
But your way is simpler and achieves the result I am after just by using Hide/Show on the section with the button.
Glad to know that @Ruenel was able to help you out! Feel free to open another thread if you have more questions. Have a nice day.
