Responsive Text Essential Grid

Hello. I am trying to make the text in Essential Grid scale for Mobile. I have added:

@media (max-width: 797px) {
.esg-grid * {
font-size: 28px !important;
padding-left: 0 !important;
line-height: 28px !important;
}
}

This works for text elements but it will not scale the text for post titles when they are displayed on the grid image. What am I missing.

Thanks

Jim
