Responsive screensize defaults to smallest size

Responsive screensize in chrome for android isn’t correctly getting the screen size and resolution. The site renders show the site renders as if the screen were the smallest screen size (480px or smaller)
How can troubleshoot this?

Hey Zachary,

Would you mind providing a little more context for us to clearly understand the issue?

Right now, it sounds like you’re referring to the Tablet view having the same display as the Phone view. Is that correct? The browser and Operating System does not play a role in responsive view by the way. It is the screen size that needs to be taken into account.

If you’re viewing on a tablet and you see it’s the same display as in your phone, it could be that you’re viewing in portrait mode where the screen width is commonly 768px. At that breakpoint, you’re already in mobile view where the columns stack and the navigation turns into a mobile menu button.

That is the theme’s design and there is currently no option nor CSS to change nor override the breakpoint.

Thanks.

The issue is that when viewed on premium phones in the chrome browser (iphone, Pixel, etc) the site displays as if it were on a low-res small screen. I’m not a pro with @media and meta properties. What I would like to do is disable the smallest size display. But I do not understand how the site determines its responsive size, via viewport or pixel size.

Hi Zachary,

Regretfully, we are not entirely certain of your issue. Are you referring to the image not being sharp? If so, Please double the size of your images and keep the Images’ Retina Display option enable.

The Font Size can be configure under Theme Options > Typography > Root Font Size

Thanks,
