Reset license

How do I reset my license so that I can re add it to my site? My hosting expired and I had to start over with my entire site.

The extensions are not all showing and it’s instructing me to troubleshoot the issue.

I would also like to upgrade to pro and I’m not sure if I can do that without first reinstalling the theme.

Thanks

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Are you trying to revoke and reassign the license to another domain? If that is the case, please do the following:
1] Please go to X > Overview (or Pro Overview) and revoke the validation (https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/04/17110514/Capture53.jpg).
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.example.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X > Overview again, and insert your license code.

Please let us know how it goes.

I could not find the page to do as instructed. I unlocked my license for transfer. That was my only option.
I would like to note, I am using the same website but different hosting. Not sure if that matters.

Also, I upgraded to pro and I attempted to install it and I keep getting an error code 50. My site goes down and I have to restore it to the previous day. I also get a white screen when I attempt to do the live preview. ’

I just need help :persevere:

Hi there,

First thing first we need to make sure the licensing is correct, I locked the license for you so you can use it with no problem. To change the URL of the website for registration you do not need to unlock the purchase key, you just need to edit the domain section and add your new domain.

Regarding, the White Screen problem you may need to enable the WordPress debugging to be able to see the error to follow up:

https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG

Thank you.

Thank you.

It’s the same domain. That’s why i’m a little confused. It’s telling me to register for access but i’m already registered and I don’t have an api key or product validation code to enter again.

Hey There,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • License Number

All the best!

i’m not sure if i responded correctly secure note went above your response

Hi There,

I was referring to the Wordpress Admin Credentials

Thank you

Hey there,

Firstly, apologies for the long delay in responding. It looks like there was a mix up with the last couple of posts, so it appeared as though we were waiting on further information from you.

I took a look at your site and although you had Pro installed, you had an X child theme activated. So when you tried to add in the Pro licence, it was attempting to register X still, not Pro, and therefore did not work. I’ve added the Pro child theme for you, activated it and added in your product licence and now it’s all working.

So your product activation issues should now be sorted. If you still have problems, let us know, otherwise have a great day!

Thank you so very much!

You’re welcome!
