Resent post does not work

Hi!

Please see our pages: https://sapphirecoin.io/2017/11/merry-christmas-prosperious-new-year/ As if you click the Resent post on the right column, you can see that the page reloads, but does not lead anywhere. How I can fix this? Thanks!

That is native wordpress recent post widget.

Can you try switching theme and see if the issue persist.

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password

This could be a problem with your permalink settings. Please go to Settings > Permalinks and temporarily switch to default. If still nothing is working, please provide us access to the site so that we can investigate further to resolve this issue.

Hi!

Still not working. I have taken off the widget and then put it back. I have saved the posts again. If you check Inspect Element, you can see 16 errores on the page. Is this a reason?

Something is overriding the URLs of your posts, example, if you’ll view your widget’s source code, it will be like this

									</li>
											<li>

					<a href="https://sapphirecoin.io/millionaire-one-click/">Blockchain currencies are gaining investors trust!</a>
									</li>
					</ul>

Notice that all links are the same. Something is overriding them so please deactivate your plugin one by one while checking the issue is still there, if not, then the last plugin that you deactivated is the culprit. The same goes for your customization, please remove them one at a time until you find what’s causing this.

Finally, it´s WPML that is causing the problem. Is there way to fix that? Is there a lot of problems with WPML? Is there any other plug-in of languages that is working better with the theme?

Hi there,

That is not theme’s widget, that’s Wordpress standard widget. I also tried it in my installation using Wordpress’s recent posts widget and WPML and there are no issues at all. Hence, this issue is not because of the theme and WPML. Do you use WPML addons too? This is clearly modifying the widget’s URL.

Hey @payapi,

Since WPML or your WPML setup is modifying the behavior of the recent posts, whether it’s the WP widget or X’s Recent Post, you need to contact their support and ask what function is responsible for doing that or why it happens.
