Require e-mail before accessing content

Hi there!

I am making a page on my site where I would like for the visitors to give me their e-mail before accessing the content on that specific page.

The page is for possible investors and the content is not interesting or relevant for other users.

Any suggestions? Is there a built in functionality for this with PRO or can you suggest any plugins that for example hides the content behind a pop-up or something similar?

Have a great day!

/Tomas

Hi Tomas,

The default feature that comes with Wordpress is to set the page as a password protected page to require users to key in the password before being able to see the page content:

Since you want to require users to enter their email before accessing a page content, you will have to find a specific plugin for that. Unfortunately, as it is a third party plugin that could do this, we cannot provide a recommendation due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script.

But these Google search result might help:

Hope this helps.

Hi Jade!

Thanks for the response. I think I found a way of achieving the desired functionality using the ConvertPlug-plugin. Might be good to know in the future

Thanks you for a great theme and even better support! Keep up the good work.
