Replicating demo header settings

Hello there,

I am trying to replicate the header in your Ethos 2 demo, specifically for the slider setting that allows it to sit under the navigation and stretch flush to the bottom of the browse viewport. However, when I imported the demo the slider was not included. How do I achieve this effect?

If you see the attached images, the demo (demo.png) is inside a container with the class: .x-slider-container. But it is not inside: .x-main

My version (dev.png) is inside .x-main and a completely different set of wrappers.

If you could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Regards,

Mark

Hi there,

The Ethos 2 demo content is using Revolution Slider.

Kindly install and activate Rev Slider from X > Validation then create a slider. Once the slider is created, edit the page where you want to add the slider and scroll to the Slider Settings: Below Masthead and set the slider there.

Hope this helps.

Hiya,

Thanks for getting back.

Yes, I already had revolution Slider installed and a couple of sliders made, one of which I had loaded into another page to test Cornerstone before I imported the demo pages. I did think it would grab one of those.

The home demo imported like this minus the slider: http://anthropoid.co.uk/delma/

The import doesn’t seem to have added the div .x-slider-container either.

I have removed the content and reimported a couple of times, but the same result.

Mark

Hi Mark,

Please edit your home page > scroll down to the Slider Settings: Below Masthead setting > select your slider > the slider will appear below header:

If you add the slider revolution element to content builder, it will be placed inside .x-main div.

Hope it helps
