A client is considering purchasing x theme. They want this look. Can it be done with X Theme? If so, what stack would need to be used?

Yes, the example site can be achieved using X theme. You can use Renew stack and some tweaks for the header to have the logo align to the left and your social icons as well.

There are many options and settings can be adjusted too.
when you change a stack, do the button colors you have in the existing stack transition to the new stack? if not, can this be a feature request?

Button colors are still the same when you change stack. Note that only stack specific options are changing when you choose another stack. All other change happens in the backend. What I mean was, stack specific styles are loaded. It was intended to have the same button colors. So you don’t have set it everytime.
