Replicate toggle style

Hi there.

I have tried to replicate the toggle for off-canvas content area. See attached. However, it behaves differently wrt responsiveness. I wonder if you could copy the toggle style / css here?

Also, I would like the toggle and replicate inline. How do I accomplish that wrt the toggle?

Thanks.

Hello @nblund,

Thanks for asking. Can you please share URL of this particular page?

Thanks.

Indeed. Please see secure note.

Hi there,

It’s inline in my view, would you mind providing more details or mockup design of what you’re trying to do? As for functionality, it works as off canvas.

Thanks!

Hi there.

I am trying to replicate the toggle and use it as a button. Whereas I did get the style right at a certain screen size; the responsiveness is not the same. This is why I asked for the css for the toggle - that would enable me to fully replicate the style and make the ‘buttons’ work identically. Can you provide me with the style, please?

Thanks.

Hi There,

Since you did not provide the URL of the original page as requested by @Prasant we are still unsure about what is the issue and your design goal.

If you could record a video to clarify or at least provide the reference page URL and more detail that would be great in order that we can help.

Thanks!

Hmm, as a matter of fact I did provide the URL to you three days ago in a secure note. So unsure what you mean about ‘Since you did not provide the URL of the original page’ respectively ‘or at least provide the reference page URL’. Please have a look in the secure note.

Actually, I don’t know how to put it more clearly than ‘I am trying to replicate the toggle and use it as a button.’ I.e. a button with a different link that looks and acts exactly as the toggle (toggle button). Perhaps you can ask me specific questions and I will answer in order to reach common understanding.

Hi There,

I can see from the homepage that you have 3 toggle button: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbXury2xyy
Those circle button with different icon on hover, is that what you are trying to change? If yes, we can change how it looks but not the link because that how it functions.

On your initial post too, you said How do I accomplish that wrt the toggle, what do you mean by wrt?

Hi there. Yes, we are getting there. You are saying: “We can change how it looks but not the link because that how it functions.” This is the core of my support ticket. I am trying to make a standard button look and behave exactly as the toggle - except I want it to link to another page rather than to the off-canvas modal. As you know, I did style it to look like the toggle, but I don’t seem to get the style right wrt (with regards to) responsiveness. So, when screen resolution changes, the toggle and the button I made have different styles (sizes etc.).

Thanks.

I see. Regretfully, that would require custom scripting which is outside the scope of our support. For that, you need to seek help from a third party developer.

Thanks.

Thanks for the effort.

You’re welcome, have a great day,

Cheers!
