Replacing logos in Logo Carousel Slider

Hi, apologies that this seems to have been covered many times, but i can’t seem to figure this out…

I’m using the Logo Carousel and trying to replace the SVG images with my own JPG and PNG images.

So far, I have changed the paths, changed the SVG tag to Image on the JSON file, removed the Raw content and added an Image element with the Dynamic Content set as image - but nothing is displaying?

Hi Emmett,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the page and found the problem you are describing here. I have also found there are multiple JavaScript errors shown in the console which might be the reason behind your problem.

I would suggest you deactivate and delete the Pro and reinstall it by downloading it from your Themeco Account once again, and check if that resolves your issue. If that does not help, there might be some different reasons behind your issue. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

  1. Theme Related Issue
  2. Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update related issue
  4. CSS/JS Customization
  5. Disabling Cache
  6. Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.

Thanks, if I do delete Pro and reinstall, is there any chance I could lose what I’ve already created on several pages etc?

Hey Emmett,

No, the data won’t be lose if you delete and reinstall the Pro because the data was saved in the database.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Marc.

I have reinstalled the Pro theme, could you check to see if the issues you found persist and if I have still missed something in the code?

Appreciate your help

Emmett

Hi Emmett,

The issue is still occurring, I would suggest you follow the additional steps given in my previous reply.

Thanks

Hi, I think actually it may have gone away - my guess is a plugin may have caused it, although the initial problem is still there.

No, still there :frowning:

Thanks for the reply, you can go ahead and use the current live site as it’s just a development site at the moment anyway.

Thanks again

Hi Emmett,

I have checked the JSON data and found that the comma is missing after the image attribute as shown in the given screenshot. You need to add that to get the output you expect. I created a Test page where I added the comma in the JSON and it is working fine.

Thanks

Ah yes, I’ve sorted it now! Thanks so much for your help

Hi Emmett,

Glad that we are able to help you.

Thanks
