I made a repeat svg pattern for the menu bar, here is how it looks in adobe, its flush, and shouldnt have any gaps:
On a computer it looks fine:
But on my ipad, it has a gap:
Any ideas as to why this is occurring?

Thanks for posting! Please check your SVG in your editor and make sure to remove any excess space. Even if it is 0.5 pixels, it may display on retina devices.

As per my screenshot of how it is made in illustrator its going off of the artboard, and illustrator exports the artboard, and cuts it…so its flush, there is no space

That comes from an empty background-size.
Setting the background-size to contain would fix that.
