Render-blocking resources

Hi guys, we have been experiencing major performance issues in mobile, based on google page speed check, it looks like a big part of the problem is Ethos and the theme css and jquery:

For example: “Eliminate render-blocking resources”

Thanks for reaching out.

The Wordpress environment is kind of modular where scripts, themes, and plugins can be created by a different author (even the Wordpress itself) so it can’t be fixed through the theme, and this is also part of optimization.

I recommend checking the optimization plugin’s documentation on how to do that, for example https://blog.futtta.be/2018/12/13/how-to-fix-render-blocking-jquery-js-in-autoptimize/
