Removing padding at the top of a page

Hey guys,
I posted in the forums a while ago about removing some padding at the top of my site and it never got answered for some reason. If an official team member wouldn’t mind taking a look at my post it would be much appreciated. link to previous post here.

Hi Morgan,

The space on top is actually your page title but your heading is set to white color so it’s not visible.

To change the color of your page title, you can add this in X > Launch > Options > CSS

/* page title color */
.entry-header .entry-title {
    color:#000;
}

or if you no longer need it, you can add this code instead.

/* hide page title  */
.entry-header  {
    display:none;
}

Then you can add margin-top:0; to your heading to remove the extra space.

eg.

<h1><span style="color: #000000;margin-top:0;">Merch</span></h1>

hey guys. I’ve added this code to the global css of my website as well as trying the individual page css and neither of those solutions have worked. Is there anything else I could try?

Hi There,

Could you please try adding the following CSS rules as well.

.page-id-336 .entry-wrap {
    padding-top: 0 !important;
}
.page-id-338 .entry-wrap {
    padding-top: 0 !important;
}

That last bit of code helped me out with all of my pages except one. my “my story” page for some reason will not move up to the top. I went into dashboard > page editor > disable title and also tried all of the code you guys have offered. no luck.

For the “My story” page, add the following CSS rule as well.

.page-id-334 .entry-wrap {
    padding-top: 0 !important;
}
