Remove white bar over background photo on my home page

I’ve been searching and pasting in to my css every solution I can find in the forums to no avail. My website is tanalopez.com and there is a white bar over the top of the photo on my home page. How do I remove that white bar?

I have solved this problem by switching the page template to something else, saving, then going back and setting it to no header, no footer and the white bar was gone.

Hi there,

It seems that you wanted a landing page, and for that, the Page Template you have mentioned is exactly doing the purpose.

Thank you.
