Remove Uncategorize Woocommerce Category from Front End

Hi There,

I have been looking for an easier solution to remove this red marked category from my front end shop page: http://prntscr.com/k660ns there should be an easy or default option for this.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! You can go to Dashboard > Products > Categories and delete the Uncategorized category from the list.

Hi Nabeel,

Thanks for your reply, but I’m afraid I didn’t know that the default category can be deleted. I thought you already know that, unless I’m wrong. Just as a prove and to confirm, check this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/k6sh2m and let me know how come it can be deleted and what’s the other option to remove/hide this category from the front end of the website.

Hello There,

Sorry for the confusion. It appears that you are using a Product Category widget. Please go to Appearance > Widgets and find the sidebar area where in you have inserted the widget. You must select the “Hide empty categories” option in the widget.
