how do i remove this space between this call-out box (this is x-theme short code) and the picture.) it’s unnecessary and distracting.

Thank you for writing in, you can add a class mbn to your Prompt shortcode.
e.g.
[prompt type="left" title="Check Me Out!" message="Donec id elit non mi porta gravida at eget metus. Vestibulum id ligula porta felis euismod semper." button_text="Click Me!" href="#example" class="mbn"]
mbn mean Margin Bottom None, you can find the other Spacing Helper Classes here.
