Remove Landmark - not just hide with CSS

Is there a way to omit the x-header-landmark via php in the functions file as opposed to simply hiding it with CSS?

Hi there,

Try editing the page and under the Page Setting, click on Disable Page Title.

Unfortunately that does not work for Posts or Custom Post Types

You can follow https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/alternat-index-titles-for-blog-post-pages/9737/4 and remove the h1 titles from the code.
