Remove empty sidebar on new pages

We have recently installed the theme and using the agency demo template. We are in the middle of creating our site and have run into a bit of a problem.

I have created a number of new pages and there is a large margin which I assume is a sidebar to the right hand side of the page that I cannot work out how to remove. It seems to be where wordpress had stored comments etc previously that I removed.

I have also tried to load a template from the agency demo but that is not fixing it either.

No need to respond, just found the answer in the forum and it worked.

To totally removed the sidebar in all the pages in your site, please go to X > Theme Options > Layout & Design > Content Layout. You must select Fullwidth so that all the layouts of your pages will always be fullwidth.

Glad you’ve found the setting, Bridee.

Thanks Christian, I did find it and it has changed it, but it hasn’t done the complete whole page like the ones in the agency demo. There are only small margins either side however do you know why?

Hey Bridee,

I checked the pages in your site but regretfully, I don’t see the small margins you’ve described. Is this happening in a specific page that is not available in the links in your site? Please provide the specific page URL.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

If you have a look at this page: http://www.masonhr.com.au/redundancy/, this is where I uploaded the agency theme template I created. You can see the margins either side, each section doesn’t go all the way like in the home or about page.

Thanks,
Bridee

Hi Bridee,

Thank you for the clarification, please change the page template to Blank - No Container | Header, Footer

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Hey Christian, I don’t have that option, I have preferences, colours, fonts but no pages settings. I cannot located where the page template is?

Looks like I can do it wordpress editor though Page Attribute > Template, I just need to do it for each page.

Hi Bridee,

Yes that option is also available on the Wordpress editor.

Can you confirm that you’re on the Cornerstone editing the page? and not on the X > Content.

That Page Settings should be there.

Thanks,

Yep definitely on cornerstone. I’d add a screenshot here but I am not sure how?

I have no idea what happened, but I went back and now the page settings is there

Could be a caching related, glad things sorted out on your end now.

Cheers!
