Remove Black Bars in embedded Youtube Videos

Hello, for some reason black bars show up on the sides when I embed youtube videos into posts. This is the only theme I’ve had this issue with. I read in forum others had similar issues, but I’m not very tech savvy in dealing with CSS etc. Is there a basic CSS code that support can create that I can enter into CSS field to get to work properly?! I’m using Integrity. Thanks!

HI,

Can you provide us the exact url of the page where we can see the issue.

This is to ensure that we can provide you with a tailored answer to your situation.

Thank you.

That would be great. I listed the url’s above as a secure note. Thanks again for your help!

Hi There @basednow

Could you please try increasing the width and height of your iFrame embed code for example width="716" and height="403" and see if that helps.

Also check the following resource (https://wistia.com/learn/production/remove-black-bars-from-online-video).

Thanks!

You’re a genius! Thank you so much!

You’re more than welcome, glad we could help.

Cheers!
