How would I change this functions.php script to work with X?

Thanks for writing in! The best way would be to use CSS rules to hide those meta data.

Or else check the following file to locate the relevant function.
/x/framework/functions/{STACK}.php

For example if you’re on ethos stack, check the following file.
/x/framework/functions/ethos.php
Locate the function x_ethos_entry_meta
